Remco was the more prolific of the two toy makers, producing a wider range of monsters and in more sizes. Remco produced both 8 inch and 3 3/4 inch toys, and they added the Phantom and The Creature to the monster toys kids could play with. Remco’s 8 inch figures weren’t nearly as nice as Mego’s, but their smaller action figure line was extremely well made.
Also like Mego, some of the Remco monsters glowed. Figures from the 3 3/4 inch line like Frankenstein and the Wolfman came in two versions, one glowing, one not.
In addition to the figures themselves, Remco produced some monster playsets, including the really neat Monsterizer.
