Universal Monsters

After Star Wars and Star Trek, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Universal Monsters weren’t the most licensed franchise in movie and TV history. Especially if you’re talking vintage toys. Both Remco and Mego had their own lines of monsters, complete with playsets. Remco offered both 8 inch and 3 3/34 inch figures. Then of course there were the lunch boxes, pencil cases, knock-off toys. Super7 has even taken them on with a line of ReAction figures. I’m a sucker for monster movies, especially these classics, so I wanted to at least put up a nod to what are some of my favorite toys. However, other sites, like the appropriately revered Mego Museum have much more extensive information and photos. So, enjoy a few pictures here, and if you want more, you know where to find them.
